Mirbons commissons
Available options
This page is to showcase some style examples and previous works. I currently offer two sizes: portraits, which include the head and shoulders of a subject, and fullbodies that include all if not most of the subject in the drawing.
Do note that the examples shown here are mostly to give an impression of the styles, not sizes.
Any and all commissions I take are subject to my TOS.
Things I draw
• Horses! All the horses!
• Human(oid) fantasy characters
• Pets (cats, dogs, birds, etc.)
• Robots if not overly complex
• Gore
• Anthro characters
Things I do not draw
• overly complex scenes with large groups of characters - I like my sanity!
• Hateful content
• NSFW
• Religious symbols
• inappropriate or sensitive topics
• anything else I do not feel comfortable drawing up to my discretion.
Style 1
Has clearly visible lineart & outlines, paired with bold shading and lighting. Lineart is usually not colored.
Portraits: €30
Fullbodies: €60
Style 2
Thinner lineart that is moreso shading/gets colored in, and no outlines. Typically has a softer look.
Portraits: €35
Fullbodies: €70
Style 3
Doesn't utilize lineart for the most part and instead of that relies on the shading and coloring to separate elements.
Portraits: €50
Fullbodies: €120
Chibi style
Adorable little chibis, a cheaper and less detailed commission option for your OC's. Complex elements may be stylized and/or simplified.
Portraits: €12
Fullbodies: €25
Backgrounds and complexity fees
Backgrounds start at €10 for very simple pieces but will cost more depending on the level of detail requested (amount of foliage, me doing architecture, etc). This will be discussed before I request payment. Click on the images below to see what a background like it would approximately cost.
Complexity fees
If you request a very complicated to draw character that has a lot of accessories, a difficult coat and/or outfit or something that requires me to fight perspective such as weird angles and buildings, I will calculate a complexity fee on top of the base price. This complexity fee can be up to 75% of the total price, to account for the extra time I will have to spend on the piece. This fee will be discussed beforehand.
Design commissions
I offer custom designs, pricing of which is dedicated by the type of custom you are interested in. All customs come on their own custom lineart with a pose of your choosing.
Semi customs/redesigns: +25% of commission base price
The customer provides me with moodboards/descriptions/inspirational images and the like. I create a design for the commissioner based on these. I will provide updates as usual, but will only change minimal design elements, minimal being defined at my discretion.
Full customs: +75% of commision base price
The customer provides me with moodboards/descriptions/inspirational images and the like. I create a design for the commissioner based on these and will suggest my own ideas to help create a character if the customer so desires. Full customs come with regular updates at the different design stages and will be discussed thoroughly with the customer. Changes will be made based off the feedback I get.
Recent design examples
A compilation of designs I made on my very own adopt bases to give an indication of what I can do.
Reference sheets
I offer custom OC reference sheets for pre-existing characters, but as they are so varied (and character specific) pricing can vary greatly based on the design elements, props and other add-ons present, and the style everything is drawn in. As such, I offer quotes upon request but do not have any specific pricing available here. Do note that references are either unshaded or shaded very minimally for clarity.
complexity guide
To help you figure out how complex I generally find designs, a rough complexity guide has been added below. There are many factors that come in to play when determining complexity such as:
the amount of detail on clothes, the amount of colors used in a design, the size and shape of character markings, how much hair a character has, wings, horns, extra limbs, dynamic posing, shading and much more. I am however a fairly proficient artist so I should be able to draw most things.
Obviously, this guide is quite simplified, but it should give an idea of what factors come into play.
